You can now use your purehmv points to get digital karaoke backing tracks. Get as many of these as you wish for only 1,000 points each, you will be sent a unique code/s in your confirmation email which you can use on on the PureSolo website here www.puresolo.com/purehmv . All you need is a PC or Mac and a in built or handheld microphone.

Once you have created a PureSolo account you will also be given an additional free track upon sign up!

There will always be a selection of 10 tracks to choose from. We'll do our best to change them on a monthly basis.

So what are you waiting for, go ahead and show off your singing talent, post your performance on the PureSolo website and to all your friends on Facebook. And, as an added bonus! on the 25th of each month the pureteam will select the best Karaoke performance to win 25,000 bonus points! What are you waiting for?

Terms and conditions:
Your unique code has a validity of 6 months. However why would you wait that long to use it.You will need to create a new account with our partners PureSolo www.puresolo.com/purehmv where you will need to enter your unique code, setup an account, pick your track, sign along and then publish your performance. It is entirely up to you whether you publish your performance. However, if you do please note you will automatically be entered into our monthly draw to win 25,000 points (the draw will take place on the 25th of every month from November 2011 until June 2012, if the 25th falls on a weekend the draw will take place on the next working day. Winners will be contacted via email within 5 days) and by doing so you accept to take part in any publicity related to winning. Full consent will be sought before doing so. Thank you hmv for a fantastic night at the NME awards. Meeting Dave Grohl, chatting to Kate Moss, bumping into Biffy Clyro and getting my picture with Jo Whiley were just some of the highlights. The long wait in the cold was definitely worth it. It was awesome walking into an empty 20,000 capacity arena. It was nice seeing and hearing the Manics run through some of their songs something we don't normally get to see. It felt very special.

Thanks for the tickets to Hurts album launch party. The event was great fun and we had the opportunity to sip wine and eat canapes at the amazing venue,The Royal Institute of British Architects in the heart of London's West End. Hurts were amazing live and played a medley of tracks from their new album, including Happiness and Wonderful Life. They have great stage presence and hark back to the 80's style gurus Spandau Ballet with an Electro feel. The evening ended really well as we managed to meet Boy George resplendent in a Green Top Hat. He was a gentleman and obviously recognises talent when he sees it. Thats Hurts not us! Thanks for a memorable evening

Meeting the band, watching their first ever live sound test of their new album and then meeting them and getting all the band to sign my shoe was just unbelievable. This was the fourth time I has seen Enter Shikari live, but this tiny little venue near Soho square simply beat them all hands down :)
