The Cribs Signed A2 My Inspiration Poster (featuring Johnny Marr)
If you’ve been following this Yorkshire indie outfit since they started out seven years ago then you’ll know that their second album, 2005’s The New Fellas, was produced by the iconic rocker Edwyn Collins. It’s probably no surprise then that, when asked who inspired them to make music, they chose the ex-Orange Juice vocalist. The song that did it for them? The Campaign For Real Rock from his critically acclaimed 1994 album Gorgeous George. Although Johnny Marr wasn’t with the band then, he’s signed their ‘My Inspiration’ poster too. So now you’ve got an extra reason to make sure you grab one.
