Eric Bishop is in crisis. His second wife is out of prison and out of his life. His stepsons are running riot. His daughter wants him to get back in touch with her mother. And there’s a cement mixer in the garden. In desperation, he turns to a poster of his idol Eric Cantona for inspiration. Magically appearing, the footballer-philosopher helps his biggest fan to face the past and plan the future. Got a kick out of the film then grab one of only two promotional posters signed by the two main stars, director Ken Loach and writer Paul Laverty.
